Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 13, 2026

WarrantyDesk is operated by Shields Enterprises. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information in connection with our warranty management platform.

Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly, including names, addresses, phone numbers, and email addresses of homeowners and service vendors, as well as warranty claim details submitted through our platform.

How We Use Information

We use collected information to manage warranty claims, notify service vendors of assigned work by email or text message, and communicate with homeowners regarding claim status. Vendor text messages are transactional assignment notifications, not marketing messages.

SMS Communications

WarrantyDesk sends vendor text messages only after the builder records that the vendor expressly agreed to receive transactional warranty-assignment texts at the phone number on file. Message frequency varies; message and data rates may apply. A vendor may reply STOP to opt out. A vendor who has opted out must text START before texts can resume.

We use Telnyx to deliver vendor text messages. The vendor phone number and message content are sent to Telnyx as needed to provide that service. WarrantyDesk does not use Twilio or SendGrid.

Data Sharing

We do not sell or share personal information with third parties except as necessary to deliver our services or as required by law.
